Main Body
The main body of your report will probably have several sections and these will be determined by the type of report you are writing. For example, if you are writing a research report, you will probably have the following sections:
- Literature review
- Methodology
- Results
- Analysis
- Discussion
However, a lab report or scientific report may have different sections, such as:
- Methods/Procedures
- Results
- Analysis
A business report may not have a methodology or methods section, but may include case studies as example of real-life practice of a business strategy or process.
