Technical/scientific reports
In technical or scientific reports, you may need to use technical or specialised terms. Consider your audience when using these words - will they know what they mean? If you are writing for a non-specialist audience, you may need to provide explanations for some terms in a glossary.
Take care with your grammar and punctuation. Incomplete sentences and commas in the wrong place can confuse, or even alter, your meaning. Presentation is also very important in a report and grammar and spelling mistakes do not make a good impression.
